Consignment at The Exchange

Thank you so much for considering The Exchange to schedule consignment.  We really appreciate it.  Currently, we are not scheduling new appointments as we have a large amount of inventory to work through, tag and get on the floor to sell.  Please reach back in a few weeks and we are hoping to have availability to take items for Summer!

Appointments are  REQUIRED for consignment.

Terms for Consignment at The Exchange:
Appointments are required to consign!
 Appointments required - Items for consignment are reviewed by appointment only.
 How to make an appointment: Please call The Exchange (802) 878-3848 during our BUSINESS HOURS and speak to an associate to schedule an appointment.
 Appointment Priority is given to customers who shop at The Exchange.
 Sales before Consignment. Please note that if we have someone making a purchase during your appointment, the purchase will take priority.

Tips for a productive Consignment Experience:
Our consignment period is 4 months. At the end of the 4 month period, items will need to be picked up or we will donate. Please call a day before you are planning to pick up, and we will pull them for you, and have them ready, as time allows. If items are not picked up, we will donate them to local charities.
We will accept 10-15 items per person, per visit. We are a small store and like to offer multiple styles and sizes throughout the store. Something for everyone! We ONLY accept clean seasonal clothing. Please bring them neatly folded in a bag. We do not accept hangers; we have no room. We will not accept items in questionable condition. (Excessive wrinkles, rips, stains, missing button, odor, etc.). Please wash clothing, and clean dirt off and scuff from shoes. Make sure the clothes have not been exposed to unpleasant odors (in storage or basements). Make sure there are no stains or deodorant residue. The Exchange is not responsible for loss, fire, theft, negligent handling, or act of God. Unfortunately, items have been shoplifted. It is an inherent risk of consigning, and we do not reimburse consignors for those items. We take every possible precaution and care to keep your items safe.
