Consignment at The Exchange

 **Please read this important process reminder and update.**
 Please know that The Exchange  implements  a model of having consignors locate and take their items.
We will print out a list of unsold items to provide you. The kind ladies working will point out general areas where items are kept and will be unable to assist other than that. 
If you recognize an item that you brought in in the past, but it is not on your list, that item has expired and become property of The Exchange per the contract terms.

Contract Terms:
Your consignment items expire on______________. No Exceptions. What does this mean? Please stop in before this date to locate and take your items. They will become property of The Exchange and or donated after this date. 
We WILL NOT CALL YOU to remind you of expiration dates on items or about account balances. Please stop in, email or call.
Checks are NOT MAILED To YOU. Please stop in or arrange for someone to pick them up for you. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Your accepted consigned items will be tagged within 3 weeks of acceptance and put out for sale. 
The Exchange prices items generally at 30% of what an item sells for new and reserves the right to price according to item condition and price-point within the store. 
Consignors are assigned an account and get 40% of the sale price once an item sells.
Account balances are available to the consignor as a check. Unused Account Balances become Credit Only after 12 months.
Customers may also enjoy a 10% discount when balances are applied toward in store purchases. 
The Exchange accepts consigned items seasonally and by appointment only. Please No Walk-Ins. 
The Exchange accepts up to 20 items at a time.  Items should be brought in folded and in a bin. Do NOT Bring items in on hangers.
The Exchange will NOT accept items in questionable condition such as wrinkles, rips, stains, missing buttons, odors, etc. 
Jewelry must have verification provided by the consignor if they are to be priced as real gemstones or metals.
The Exchange does our best to review all items when dropped off. Items are inspected when tagged, and if are found to have a hole or stain, they will be donated. Please check your items thoroughly before bringing them in. 
The Exchange is not responsible for loss, fire, theft, negligent handling, or act of God. Unfortunately, items have been shoplifted and damaged. It is an inherent risk of consigning and we do not reimburse consignors for those items. We take every possible precaution and care to keep your items safe.
The Exchange reserves the right to have store sales and have consigned items sold at reduced prices. Customer accepts these conditions by signing here.
Customer is offered a copy of signed contract.
Customer has noted the expiration term for consigned items.
